Information for Developers

If you are interested in applying your knowledge of computer science and programming to writing real programs, you are in the right place. You can test your programming skills writing software that ensures data exchange between Ectaco^™ Electronic Translators and PCs.

We are introducing an Ectaco Challenge Program for Developers.

Here is a sample list of programs:

• Synchronization between Outlook 98 (contacts, schedule), Netscape Messenger address book, Eudora, Lotus Organizer, etc. and Ectaco^™ Electronic Translators;
• Conversion to/from common database formats: .dbf, .mdb (MS Access), etc;
• Communication program between MS Excel and the Account Manager section of Ectaco^™ Electronic Translators, etc.

If you have any ideas about programs that should be written - let us know. We appreciate suggestions.
